The GasStation is suspending publication.  This blog has been viewed by people around the world.  We hope you have enjoyed reading the 5000 plus postings as much as we have enjoyed providing them.

The natural gas industry has vitalized many communities and provided employment for our fellow Americans.  To our friends in the natural gas industry we extend our wishes for continued success.

To those who have sought to mislead the public about the production and use of natural gas, we leave you with these words from John Adams: "Facts are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passion, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence."

Fuel for thought! “Fossil fuels have no part in America’s energy future – coal, oil, and natural gas are literally poisoning us. The emergence of natural gas as a significant part of our energy mix is particularly frightening because it dangerously postpones investment in clean energy at a time when we should be doubling down on wind, solar and energy efficiency.”
Robin Mann, Sierra Club President

Fuel for thought!  "Over the years, the powerful Sierra Club has successfully lobbied to block nuclear energy, reduce domestic oil production and put coal-fired power plants out of business. Now, in order to bolster uncompetitive wind, solar and biofuels, they are trying to restrict availability of natural gas in order to drive up the price to the levels of alternative fuels."

Fuel for thought!  When activist ideology clouds science....

If that were happening, those contaminants would be more likely to appear in his groundwater samples..."
